“Mekong Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa is something of a mixed bag; its location offers a serene escape far from tourist crowds, nestled amid beautiful nature, but requires travel of 15-30km to reach any facilities outside of the resort itself. The bungalows, some offering river views and others overlooking a lake, bring to mind the Maldives, with well-kept gardens and bicycles available for exploring the immediate area. I think this resort has potential, but I would check carefully that all services are available before booking.”
